Under the auspices of her highness Minister of Labour and Social Affairs, Amat Al-Razaq Ali Hummad, a memorandum of agreement has been signed by Mr. Mohammed Al-Lai the executive Director of Al-Amal Microfinance Bank; and Mr. Mansour Al-Faidai the Executive Director of the Social Welfare Fund.
The MOA will enable the Social Welfare Fund beneficiaries to have Al-Amal Bank offered services (Credit, Saving and insurance).
Before the signing a brief presentation took place in which the bank activities were highlighted as well as the performance indicators in which Al-Amal has achieved more than 2000 active saving and credit clients.
At the end of her visit, the Minister expressed her gratitude to the bank members for what they have done asserting the vital role thank bank will play as an effective tool mitigating poverty as an integral part of the National Social Safety Network.
