Al-Amal Microfinance Bank has been accepted as an affiliated member of Sanabel Microfinance Network, in a letter by Sanabel Executive Director: Sheren Farrag addressed to the bank Executive Director: Mr. Mohammed Al-Lai. As the first microfinance bank Al-Amal is expected to be a the leader in providing a range of diversified products and methodologies to the industry.
The Network was established in 2002 by 17 Arab countries' representatives in Tunisia aiming at coordinating efforts to help the Arab MFIs. With its well established standards the network aims at facilitating the provision of the microfinance serves to the target group in the Arab region.
